I QUALIFIED IN children's NURSING IN 2010.

I HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY CAREER AS A children's INTENSIVE CARE NURSE AT A BUSY London HOSPITAL. .

I love nursing, I love Children and I love caring for families in a time of need.

I AM here AS your child's SLEEP CONSULTANT.

THIS NEW PASSION OF MINE CAME FROM HAVING OUR THREE WONDERFUL BOYS; BENJI, SEBBY AND WILBY.

THE FIRST TWO WERE CLASSIC “NON SLEEPERS”.

WE STRUGGLED WITH TONGUE TIE, COLIC, REPEAT colds and illness, night terrors - THE LIST goes ON.

BETWEEN THE TWO, WE achieved their FIRST FULLS NIGHTS SLEEP WHEN THEY WERE JUST OVER 2!

    I cannot recommend Sophie highly enough. Simply put, she’s amazing!

    When my son hit 8 months the regression hit hard. Before then he’d been a good sleeper without any
    effort on my part, so I really struggled to know what to do. The lack of sleep started to impact my husband’s and my mental health, and with going back to work looming I started to get very anxious. Then Sophie changed everything.

    I couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more empathetic and more experienced Wonder-Woman to help me through. With Sophie, there is no judgement; I simply felt supported and reassured.

    The plan Sophie put together for us started to work from day 1. She spent a long time chatting with me to tailor the plan accordingly; the document was very clear and thorough. But any questions I had, any wobbles, she was there to help me through.

    My son now sleeps about 11 hours straight each night. He self soothes both at home and at nursery. Doing the program really changed our lives. What a gift a good night’s sleep is!

  • There are many ways to sleep train a baby and many factors to consider. This can depend on the babies age, development and parental requirements.

    I use an assortment of methods to get the desired outcomes - but none where you leave your child to “cry it out” on their own to sleep. I follow a gentle method of sleep training.

  • I normally begin the programmes from 5 months, however there is always help to be had from any age - I structure the package around your needs.

  • I do not believe that night feeds should be stopped and believe this should be a baby-led decision.

  • 100% Yes.

  • I work with children up until their 5th birthday.

    Whilst toddlers can be a little more difficult to change because they are often in their own bed and can leave it, the increased communication and language they have can offset that challenge. Never think your child is too old to change their sleep habits.

  • The timeframe is different for every baby but I usually see changes in the babies I work with in as little as 5-7 nights. From starting to having a baby who self-settles, sleeps most of the night and has good naps is usually around 2 weeks.

  • Whilst there is never any guarantee, I firmly believe that if we work together and be consistent with the guidance, you will see the improvements that your whole family needs.
